It was the sugar-free cake of Hungary in 2019. The sponge is made with almond flour and amaranth grain and covered with sugar-free milk chocolate mixed with hazelnut, amaranth and quinoa. Plain chestnut cream layered with blueberry jelly in the middle. It is finished with a sugar-free chocolate glaze.

We made this cake on the recommendation of one of our guests. It was called Sicilian almond slice. A sponge cake made with almond flour, whisked egg whites, and filled with light buttery almond cream. The cake is completely covered with roasted sliced crunchy almonds.

The sugar-free cake of Hungary in 2022. It contains no added sugar and gluten. The sponge is made with almond and coconut flour and filled with a white chocolate, pistachio crisp and mascarpone mousse. This pleasantly light cake also contains hibiscus flower tea and rosehips. Energy content is 233.8 kcal, carbohydrate value is 11.9 g.

Punch slice

We prepare a lemon, orange syrup mixed with rum. Our home-baked sponge cubes are soaked in this syrup and then sandwiched between two layers of sponge covered with two types of jam. It is pressed for a day then finished with a traditional pink sugar glaze.

Traditional Austrian cake, invented by Franz Sacher and his son, Eduard. A special chocolate sponge is filled with our home-made apricot jam, then covered with crips dark chocolate with 70% cocoa solids. Each slice is hand topped with a chocolate plaque with “Sacher “ inscription.

Tapioca pudding
Contains no added gluten.
The tapioca, extracted from the storage roots of the cassava plant, is made the same way as our rice pudding. It is boiled with milk, sugar, vanilla pod until it reaches a thick consistency. After cooling down the pudding is portioned into small glasses and decorated with our home-made forest fruit preserve.
